Moro Women's Participation and Legitimation in the Bangsamoro Peace Process

Moro women's participation in the Bangsamoro peace process between Philippine government and Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) illuminates some feats challenges to UN Women, Peace Security Agenda (2000) of improving lives post-conflict. From interviews, secondary literature, document analysis, I found that secured legal benefits for women agreements legitimised negotiation observers. Yet consistent with MILF's push self-determination, negotiating panels reserved particulars rights as a post-peace agreement agenda, discussion within Bangsamoro. argue talks opened space realise, but does not guarantee, feminist goals better living conditions marginalised sustainable negotiation's implementation.
